Mexico stocks higher at close of trade; S&P/BMV IPC up 0.15%

Investing.com – Mexico stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials , Consumer Goods & Services and Consumer Staples sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Mexico, the S&P/BMV IPC gained 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the S&P/BMV IPC were Grupo Aeroportuario Del CentroNorte (BMV: OMAB ), which rose 3.09% or 7.75 points to trade at 258.82 at the close. Meanwhile, Qualitas Controladora, SAB De CV (BMV: Q ) added 2.46% or 4.59 points to end at 190.83 and GCC SAB de CV (BMV: GCC ) was up 2.34% or 4.24 points to 185.49 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Gentera SAB de CV (BMV: GENTERA ), which fell 3.28% or 1.40 points to trade at 41.24 at the close. Becle SA (BMV: CUERVO ) declined 2.50% or 0.59 points to end at 23.04 and Alfa, S.A.B. De C.V. (BMV: ALFAA ) was down 1.73% or 0.26 points to 14.75.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Mexico Stock Exchange by 68 to 50 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Grupo Aeroportuario Del CentroNorte (BMV: OMAB ) rose to all time highs; up 3.09% or 7.75 to 258.82.
Gold Futures for August delivery was up 0.11% or 3.60 to $3,346.50 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August fell 0.76% or 0.51 to hit $66.49 a barrel, while the September Brent oil contract fell 0.42% or 0.29 to trade at $68.51 a barrel.
USD/MXN was up 0.09% to 18.63, while EUR/MXN rose 0.25% to 21.94.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 96.65.
