Colombia stocks higher at close of trade; COLCAP up 0.07%

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials , Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC: SIS_p ), which rose 3.70% or 1,480.00 points to trade at 41,480.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Mineros SA (BVC: MAS ) added 3.40% or 240.00 points to end at 7,290.00 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC: ISA ) was up 2.99% or 580.00 points to 20,000.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC: CNE ), which fell 2.12% or 150.00 points to trade at 6,920.00 at the close. Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC: SIS ) declined 1.93% or 1,080.00 points to end at 54,780.00 and Bancolombia Pf (BVC: BIC_p1 ) was down 1.29% or 580.00 points to 44,480.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

US coffee C for September delivery was up 5.43% or 15.55 to $302.05 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 1.22% or 100.00 to hit $8,277.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.35% or 11.80 to trade at $3,352.20 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was down 0.00% to 4,010.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.00% to 717.72.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 97.81.
