Brazil stocks lower at close of trade; Bovespa down 0.41%

Investing.com – Brazil stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Consumption , Industrials and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Sao Paulo, the Bovespa lost 0.41%.
The best performers of the session on the Bovespa were Petroreconcavo SA (BVMF: RECV3 ), which rose 3.51% or 0.49 points to trade at 14.47 at the close. Meanwhile, MRV Engenharia e Participacoes SA (BVMF: MRVE3 ) added 3.05% or 0.18 points to end at 6.09 and Prio SA (BVMF: PRIO3 ) was up 2.20% or 0.92 points to 42.72 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were YDUQS Participacoes SA (BVMF: YDUQ3 ), which fell 7.40% or 1.11 points to trade at 13.88 at the close. BRF SA (BVMF: BRFS3 ) declined 4.35% or 1.00 points to end at 22.00 and Marfrig Alimentos SA (BVMF: MRFG3 ) was down 4.17% or 1.00 points to 23.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the B3 Stock Exchange by 539 to 403 and 47 ended unchanged.
The CBOE Brazil Etf Volatility , which measures the implied volatility of Bovespa options, was up 5.90% to 28.38 a new 1-month high.
Gold Futures for August delivery was up 1.31% or 43.57 to $3,369.27 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August rose 3.02% or 2.01 to hit $68.58 a barrel, while the September US coffee C contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $287.80 .
USD/BRL was up 0.41% to 5.55, while EUR/BRL rose 0.26% to 6.49.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 97.60.
